If you’re a technophobe, relax. If you can handle a word processor, you can write for the Web.
I made the transition to Web writing way back in 1997, when the technology was very complicated and flaky. If I can do it, you can do it with all the marvelous tools (like WordPress) that we have today.
Remember, your words come first. You don’t need to worry about graphics, or anything else. Designers handle the graphics; you handle the words. Usually, your words are delivered in plain text, ready for someone else to convert to HTML. You may create your original content in Word, for revision purposes, but you’ll deliver in plain text.
