So get some content onto your site.

Your site is your home on the Web; it’s (possibly) also making money for you. Whatever… Your site deserves content.

Not only does it deserve content, it needs authoritative content that’s worth linking to.

“You can’t afford to have a dull site or one lacking credibility if you want to attract links, build brand and drive targeted traffic. If you don’t have content to use as a hook or the site lacks certain credibility elements then you need to spend the money and have them created otherwise, no one will link to you.”

Links are the currency of the Web, and if someone links to your site, it means that endorse what you have to say.

Spend money on link-worthy content. It’s an investment.

“As the web gets more competitive the answer to sustainability is not more content, but deeper content. In the time it takes to answer 100 Yahoo! Answer questions you could write 10 blog posts. Here are three tips which will help you to write more articles, and to write them faster.

1. Decide what you want your articles to promote

Before you start writing, decide what you want your article to promote. Do you want to promote a product or a service? A business? An affiliate product?

Whatever you’re promotional objective is, write the article to attract the readers who will be interested in what you’re promoting.

2. Write three to four points you’ll make in an article – this is your outline

Next, write down three to four points you want to make in the article. This is your outline. The outline will help you to stick to the point, and to write your article quickly.

Your mini-outline will also ensure that you don’t disappoint your readers: an article which fulfills the promise of the headline generates good will. If you fail to deliver, you disappoint readers, and lose sales.

After you’ve written your points, write a working headline. This headline may change later, once you’ve written your article.

3. Write articles in pairs

I often write three to four articles in one session. This is because it’s just as easy to write several articles as it is to write one, once you begin and get into an “article writing” mind state.

The ability to write several articles at once comes with practice. Start by aiming to write two articles at once. Depending on how much time you have to write, you may not complete the articles in once session. However, writing articles in batches will ensure that you write more.
