Giggle of the Day: Facebook, Privacy, and ‘Human Decency’

by Angela Booth on December 29, 2012

Randi Zuckerberg (sister of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg) is irate because someone tweeted a “private” family photo she posted on Facebook.

Naturally, hilarity ensued. This is the funniest post I’ve read for a long time, Yes, Randi Zuckerberg, Please Lecture Us About ‘Human Decency’:

“Yes, Randi Zuckerberg, speak to us about human decency.

Because a photo that you posted on Facebook got shared on the Internet.

How awful this must have been for you! How… invasive. What a violation. How terrible that someone might take something that belongs to you and use it in ways that you had not anticipated, and for which you had not given explicit permission!”

Read the entire article. It’s a riot. Sadly enough, it’s all true. You really couldn’t make this stuff up: a Zuckerberg talking about “human decency”.
