Thesis 2 (WordPress) Lands on October 1

by Angela Booth on September 27, 2012

I’m a huge fan of WordPress, and my favorite theme is Thesis.

Sadly, Thesis has been opting out of the WordPress theme wars and hasn’t been updated in a while.

There’s only so much you can do with weird customizations. I got fed up with it on my freelance writing blog, and gave up on Thesis. I sulkily went back to using the default theme… who needs more problems than they already have?

I’m still using Thesis on this blog; I do love it… Anyway, all is forgiven. Thesis 2 is about to land.

So, what’s in this new version?

From, It’s Official: Thesis 2 Debuts on October 1, 2012:

“What Can Thesis 2 Do for You?

If you run a website for any length of time, you soon realize that you need to do 3 things to stay on the cutting edge:

Implement a new design from time to time
Add functionality as your site or business grows
Incorporate the add-ons from step 2 into your design”

Sounds wonderful; I can’t wait. I’ve been wanting to implement some ideas for a while, but Thesis didn’t have the functionality built-in. My other commercial theme purchases haven’t been a great success.

Roll on, October 1.
