“Never underestimate the value of a small personal idea”

Do you remember the delightful movie of a few years back — Calendar Girls?
The original “calendar girls” started their project with an idea. And that idea took them to places they never expected to go.
“When they made the original calendar in 1999, they were hoping to generate enough money to buy a sofa for a hospital waiting room.
Over the next decade, the women found themselves travelling the world.
Cathy Gilman, chief executive of Leukaemia Research said: ‘Never underestimate the value of a small personal idea.
‘The Calendar Girls could never have foreseen that 10 years on they would have raised so much money to help save lives and spare other families the pain of losing a loved one.’”
Everyone has ideas. Do you have the courage to put yours into action? The worst that can happen is that your idea will fail. But you never know what will happen if you succeed. And you just may succeed…
