Have you checked your site’s referrer logs lately? You may get a shock.

“75% of all unfocused visitors leave within three seconds.

Any site, anywhere, anytime. 75% bounce rate within three seconds.”

It’s true; go check. And it can drive you nuts if you let it.

On the other hand, realize that most of your bouncers weren’t your target audience anyway.

You’ll never eliminate all your useless traffic

If your aim is “traffic” you can get all the traffic you want - just use highly-searched keywords (I won’t mention which ones they are, because I don’t want useless traffic here :-)).

Unfortunately, this traffic bounces in, and out.

This is why you need to be careful when using all the popular “Web 2.0″ social marketing tools. Most are bouncers.
