Your name as a domain - it’s vital
Why You Must Own Your Own Domain Name | John Chow dot Com suggests:
“If you don’t own ‘yourname’.com, stop reading this and head over to your favorite domain registrar and buy it. If you don’t someone else eventually will and may even turn it into a web site dedicated to making fun of you with a naked puppet.”

The fact is, ANYONE can register your name as a domain name, and use it to ruin your reputation online.
So if you haven’t already done it, register your name NOW…
I admit I was slow on the uptake. I wrote a book for Allen & Unwin in 1998 about making the Internet work for your business, but I didn’t register angelabooth.com until 2005.
Be smart, register your name. Please. :-)
