Ghostwriting services: your article or book needs a ghostwriter
If you’re thinking that articles and books published under your name will add to your reputation, you’re right. However, articles and books which are obviously unprofessional can damage your reputation.
If you’ve got great material, don’t write it yourself
Because I’ve had books published by major publishers, I’m often sent books for review. This past week, I’ve had the depressing experience of scanning several books which their authors had self-published. The titles and blurbs sounded great, and I looked forward to reading the books.
I was disappointed in all of them. Why? Because none of the books lived up to their promise. They were ill-organized and the material lacked focus. Looking at the books as a writer, I knew that they would have made great books in the hands of a competent writer and editor. It was such a shame - great ideas, great information, but unreadable.
There’s nothing wrong with paying to have a book published. However, unless you get expert help from a ghostwriter (also known as a ghost writer), you’re (usually) wasting your money.
