Copywriting: Improving your landing pages’ Quality Scores
If you’ve been hit by the Google AdWords Quality Score hatchet, Affiliate Classroom has some excellent advice on how to get back into the action.
They report that four kinds of pages seem affected:
* One page sales letter websites
* Squeeze pages (landing pages whose sole purpose is to gather an email address in exchange for a free report)
* AdSense sites (particularly AdSense arbitrage sites)
* Affiliate sites
Google seems to be trying to eliminate the “mousetrap” scenario, in which Web surfers are enticed to click on an ad to a page where the only exit is via another click (and often, another, and another).
