SEM and reputation management: monitor your brand
Here’s a link to a buzzworthy collection of Web 2.0 sites which help you to monitor what’s being said about you online.
My favorite method is Google Alert. I don’t just use it to monitor what’s being said about me online, I also use it to monitor new Web sites — to tell me when they’ve escaped the Google Sandbox and are being indexed. Just create an alert for “yourSandoxedSite.com” and you’ll be notified when it’s being indexed.
Amazingly, my sites (fingers crossed) seem to evade the dreaded Sandbox, although I have no doubt that the Sandbox does exist.
