I’ve just started using MyLongTail, which is free in beta, and which may just hold the keys to the SEO kingdom, so to speak.

Targeting the long tail is a fascinating concept: let your blog (and Web site readers) tell you how they found you, via search queries, then write more content using those words, to attract more visitors.

The My Long Tail blog suggests that:

If you could somehow tweak your page to the first page of results for that keyword in the search engine result pages (SERPS), then you might receive tons more traffic on that term. Some determined searcher actually volunteered competitive intelligence to you through their determination and dropped it in your lap to use or not.

I’ll let you know what happens. This will be a long project, but a very interesting one.
