It pays to read the manual. Merlin at 43 Folders has an excellent how-to on Devonthink Pro, which is one of my favourite apps, BUT I’ve never used the Smart Groups feature. I knew it was there, but had no idea how useful it is. I’ve got to reread the manual too. DTP is very fast, but I haven’t considered dropping everything into it the way Merlin has. Great idea.
DevonThink Pro is the reason that I haven’t switched from Safari to Firefox. I can drop a clipping, or even an entire Web page into DTP just by selecting the page, and pressing a keyboard shortcut. Very useful. That doesn’t work in Firefox; shame.
