I think this is one of the most difficult aspects of blogging for both business and personal bloggers — how to make your blog both useful to its readers, and “blog-like”. What should your blog look like? (Or which blog should you emulate?)

This is a mistake.

You’re unique, your business is unique, and your blog can be anything you want. Some bloggers post two sentences and a link. Others post long lists of links. Others post articles and essays.

I’ve already recommended that you look on your blog as an unending News page for your site — just get the blog up on your site, and before long you’ll find uses for it — remember that your blog is part of the LIVE Web.
