Everyone has a budget. The fees I've outlined here give you a guide to help you to budget for professional Web copywriting and marketing services. If you haven't worked with a copywriter before, here's a FAQ page that may help.

Your project is unique: I'll tailor the fees to suit your project

You know what you want, and you know your business too. I'll tailor the fees to suit your situation. For example, you might not need specialized services like keyword research, which I usually include in the fees for Web copywriting, if you've done your own research. All fees are in USD.

Tip: please budget for your Web content before you hire a designer. Yes, I know it seems counter-intuitive, you want to build your house before you decorate it. However, people find you by the words you use, and they decide to buy from you based on your description of your products and services. My favourite* saying is: No words, no Web.

Web copywriting: content

Web pages: From $300 to $900 per page, depending on the page length, and the aims of the page, whether it's a sales page or an informational page.

Complete mini-site copy, from two to four pages: From $800 to $1200.

"Long" sales pages, from 1200 to 3000 words (ten print pages): From $1500 to $3000, depending on the product or service, and the amount of research required. If you'd like a "squeeze" page as well, the price may be included, depending on your project, and the amount of research needed.

Articles: From $350 to $700, 1000 to 1500 words; magazine quality.

SEO copywriting: From $400 to $600 per page (up to four print pages long). This includes keyword research, page titles, and description. The page will read well, but each page is optimized for a particular search term -- the research is included. I'll monitor the page for three months, to ensure that you're getting ranked.

Note: I don't "keyword-stuff" pages, nor do I base the SEO on keyword-density. With Google's latest page-quality guidelines, these techniques are not only ineffective, but they can also hurt your rankings.

Press releases: From $550 to $850 per release, in two formats, for the Web and for print. This fee includes posting the release to an online press release service, and creating an HTML copy of the release ready for you to post to your Web site.

Product sales pages, catalogue pages: The fee varies according to the word count and the style. Please ask.

Pay Per Click, banner ads, and other short advertising: Please ask.

I tailor the spelling on your pages according to where you're located, and/ or according to where you expect to get most of your traffic. Whatever domain you use, even if you have multiple domains such as COM, EU AU I'll adjust the copy to suit.
